School Map

While we are hoping to change Huron’s extremely limited accessibility, our historical buildings make it a goal we continue to strive towards. Until then, staff and community are there to help!

 

Currently, in order to assist with wheeled mobility aids, modular ramps can be moved to the side door by the field, and where mobility limits stair usage in general, spaces on the ground floor can be easily arranged for meetings. Zoom meetings or phone calls with educators can also always be requested. Huron also uses hybrid meetings (streaming online and in person simultaneously) so that everyone can take part in monthly School Council Meetings.

 

At Huron we understand that accessibility is more than just ‘a ramp’. If there is an environmental suggestion, or other accommodation that aligns with you or your family’s needs or if you have any suggestions or comments, please speak to your homeroom teacher or call the school principal, Mr. Rewega.
